Bitbucket OAuth login for billmanager

Overview

This plugin adds Bitbucket login to billmanager. Customers sign in to the client area and register in one click over OAuth 2.0, without a password, while existing customers can link their Bitbucket to their profile.

A good fit for hosting providers serving developers and teams on the Atlassian stack: registration goes through an account the customer already has.

The module works with Bitbucket Cloud (bitbucket.org). Bitbucket Data Center, the self-hosted product, uses a different set of OAuth endpoints — get in touch if you need that version.

How it works

1. On the login page the customer clicks the Bitbucket button.
2. The plugin redirects the customer to the Bitbucket authorization page.
3. After consent, Bitbucket returns a code that is exchanged for the user's data (email, name).
4. billmanager finds the customer by link or creates a new one and signs them in.

Installation

The plugin is installed using a script that you will receive in the archive immediately after purchasing the module.
