GitLab OAuth login for billmanager

Overview

This plugin adds GitLab login to billmanager. Customers sign in to the client area and register in one click over OAuth 2.0, without a password, while existing customers can link their GitLab to their profile.

The GitLab address is a setting, so the module works both with the public gitlab.com and with a company server — for example https://gitlab.company.com.

Ideal for developer-focused hosting platforms: it streamlines registration and authentication via GitLab accounts users already trust.

How it works

1. On the login page the customer clicks GitLab button.
2. The plugin redirects the customer to the GitLab authorization page.
3. After consent, GitLab returns a code that is exchanged for the user's data (email, name).
4. billmanager finds the customer by link or creates a new one and signs them in.
